arthur newman: musician, producer, composer
With roots in the English countryside and based in London, I aim to compose, perform and produce evocative music.
I studied Music production at IMW (Islington Music Workshop) whilst training at Old Street Studios. Now a senior Lecturer at IMW, I have become an expert in the field of audio and music production, working with artist Billie Raynard and Starlight Collective as a producer, songwriter and performer.
I have since worked as a sound designer and composer for short filmss, Collaborating with Director Zeta Georgia Gkoka, our film You Can Call Lou is available on NOWNESS and featured at the BFI London Festival 2025 and London Short Film Festival. Our latest film In Your City, my debut music video, won best music video at the Big Fridge International Film Festival and London Independent Film Festival 2026.
